The power of dreams
My daughter has this theory that if you really want something, you just ask Santa for it and ye shall receive. How to explain, without dashing childhood innocence, that the jolly fat man, no matter how kindly disposed he is to humanity, will most certainly not be popping a brand new car into my Christmas stocking any time soon.
One for the Christmas list

You won't believe how awesome it is to drive, and how, despite being what we used to call a stationwagon, and thus quite big and long, it's so incredibly manoeuvrable, and handles like a dream.
Honda Accord Tourer's a great family wagon
Then there's the 406 litres of boot space, and each rear seat has been designed to recline smoothly and slide back for greater leg room, and split to allow for more carrying and seating options. They also fold down independently - and oh so easily - creating a totally flat floor. The cherry on the top, though, is the actual ride, which is beautifully smooth. Honda's engineers have moved the fuel tank and engine closer to the car's centre of gravity, minimising body roll when cornering, and they've also used a new damper system which helps regulate the ride - from dynamic and sporty to smooth and luxurious.
Life's a breeze
Naturally, the Honda Accord Tourer has every gadget and gizmo you need to make piloting this magnificent machine as effortless and stress-free as possible, and I've got to mention the looks of the car. Far from looking like a hearse, as so many cars of this genre are inclined to do, it's actually got very sleek lines, and boasts a more emotional, sportier styling than ever before.Reading this back, I sound horribly biased towards the - but if you take one for a drive, you'll understand why. Powered by a 2.4 petrol motor (auto gearbox) my Tourer was a mamba when I needed speed - agile, exhilarating when I put my foot down - and brilliant on twisty turny corners and bends.
Ah, the power of dreams indeed...

I own a Honda VTec Jazz which, sadly, I rolled last week when I aquaplaned. The safety features of the Honda enabled my daughter and I to walk away without a scratch. Even police called to the scene were hard put to believe it. So, perhaps the safety features should have been included in your review? Every mom wants to know that her kids are as safe as possible in a family vehicle.
